Has anyone ever heard of APD, which is Audiotry Processing Disorder?

If so, please comment. If you have not and want to take a stab at defining it, please do so.

I’m taking a stab here but if the first word is audiotory or auditory (Instad of audiotry) I think that it would be a disorder that means the individual has a difficult time processing things that they hear–kinda like audio dislexia. I, for instance, have a very diffiult time processing a sequence of numbers when I hear them. I need to have phone numbers repeated slowly so I can write them down. Hearing a word spelled sometimes throws me off as well. I am remembering that Tripp tells in his Shepherding a Child’s Heart that we need to teach our children to listen for our voices as parents. It is so easy for them to get involved in what they are doing or to let the din of their surroundings drown out our voices that they can claim to not hear us–or maybe truly nothear us.
